Talladega Superspeedway (TS) driver Michael Johnson, who won the title in 2016, will try to get back on track for the championship.

Johnson won the championship by a point in the season-opening race on Saturday, but his team has failed to score enough points to qualify for the playoffs.

“I just feel like we can make it back in the playoffs,” Johnson told ESPN.

“I just have to find my rhythm and my rhythm will come.

There’s no pressure, it’s just about getting out there and getting back in this car and hopefully we can finish the season on the right foot.”
