Drag racing is back and this time, it’s on NBC, with drag queen Danni Manfredi on the air as the race car heats up to make a return to drag racing in the NBC series Drag Race Holland.
The first race aired in 2010 on NBC and this year marks the first time the show has aired drag racing on NBC in more than 10 years.
NBC said it would air two more drag races this year in Los Angeles and Miami.
The series has a history of bringing drag racing back, including two drag racing seasons on ABC.
“Drag racing is the best kind of entertainment, because you have the fans that are very passionate about it,” NBC said in a statement.
The drag race returns to NBC in a two-hour special called Drag Race: The World Championship, airing on Friday night.
Drag race fans were among those who signed up to race the show.
“You are part of a group of people who are all passionate about something and are working to create something that can only be good for their community,” drag racer Jessica Jones said in the first episode of Drag Race.
“I feel like I’m part of something special and I want to make the world a better place.”
The show is produced by Rob Van Dam and Adam Carolla, who created the hit reality show Drag Race Miami.
Last year, the show’s star, Kaitlyn Bristowe, became the first drag queen to compete in a race for the first-ever drag race on a NASCAR race car.
“We were so excited when we got that call from NBC that we were like, ‘Man, we’re really excited,'” said drag racer Tia Carreno.
“It’s been so fun to see them bring drag racing to the air.
It’s really exciting to have that chance again, and to see a drag queen race in a NASCAR car.”
NBC is expected to bring back Drag Race Atlanta this fall.
“Our drag racing season is the biggest drag race in the world and we’ve been very fortunate to be able to take part in the season,” NBC Entertainment Chairman Andrew Lack said in an official statement.
“The new Drag Race has become a huge success, and we’re thrilled that Drag Race will return for a second season in 2018.”
The NBC series has also created its own version of the show, Drag Race The World, which debuted on the Disney Channel earlier this year.
